It equates to about $1,640US sales every second which is about US$14.2 million in sales every day. If you break this down further just for Australia, a car is old every 1 minutes, a DVD every 30 seconds and an item of women’s clothing every 14 seconds. Can you imagine if Big W store sold 2,880 DVDs a day or about 6,000 items of clothing. If they could manage that many sales they wouldn’t need to sell anything else! Currently about 53,000 Australia have eBay as either their primary or secondary form of income and about 35,000 businesses use it as their secondary stream of revenue. In total 20% of the entire adult population of Australia is a member of eBay which is about 3 million people.
I hope that put things into context for you and made it is easier to visualise in your head. Contrary to what you may be thinking this is not an article to laud eBay or even too necessarily to convince you to start selling there. Given those massive figure, eBay sales still fits into that 10% of all sales I mentioned earlier. Remember there are huge sites like Amazon and search engine giants like Google and Yahoo who also fit within that 10%, let alone all the other larger, medium and smaller players. If nothing else this should illustrate for you how massive an opportunity it is out there and that we are really still only in its infancy even with all those impressive numbers. Cast your mind back just 10 years ago and most of these companies I mentioned didn’t even exist let alone the market itself.

Prom: The Night You'll Never Forget And It Didn't Even Break Mom And Dad
My daughter's grade 8 grad is coming up in June and I was eagerly thinking of ways to keep the cost down. Even grade 8 grad is a big time in a girls life. This is a night for my daughter to remember but it shouldn't cost me and my husband a fortune.
For many parents prom is an expensive time of year and families are struggling financially to give their son or daughter the perfect night that they will remember a life time. Well there is no reason why you can't give them that night but on a budget you can afford. I have put together ten tips to help you save a few dollars. Attending a prom doesn't have to cost a fortune. Prom night doesn't have to break us. Girls the memories of prom will not be if you spent 20 dollars to get your nails done or arrived in a limo. The memories will be of who you were in school and the special times that you all shared.
1. The Tuxedo: Boys why bother renting that tuxedo when you can purchase a nice suit that you can wear again for under the cost of renting that tuxedo.
2. Hair and makeup: Girls the cost of hair and makeup is expensive. The boys are lucky they dont have to fork out this one. Hair, Makeup youre looking at an additional 80 dollars. For makeup call your local department store and see about getting your make up done on Prom day, also call around to your local salons and see if they have a package deal that includes both hair and makeup. You can also save money by having your mother put up your hair. Look at some of the styles for prom online and make a fun night with mom practicing the styles before the prom. You could also get in touch with Mary K and plan a makeup party early in the afternoon on prom day and the Mary K host will do your makeup free.
3. Limos: They are nice but they are so traditional and cost a lot. Why not gather a group of your friends together and do something off the wall. Arrive at your prom on the city bus or contact your school and rent a school bus for the evening and have all your friends pitch in.
4. The dress: Girls purchasing a new dress will cost you 200 dollars and for what something you wont wear again or will sit in your keep sake box. Why not shop on Ebay or your local used clothing store and get a dress for under the cost and then just pay the additional cost to have it dry cleaned. You may also want to check around with family and see if they have a bridesmaids dress or maybe your cousin still has her prom dress that you can borrow.
5. The flowers: Purchasing flowers from the flower store is going to cost you around 20 dollars. You can go to the craft store purchase the supplies to make your own corsages and boutonni for half the cost. They are so simple and fun to make. Make a fun day of it and invite your g/f over to make them with you.
6. The photos: Why hire a professional photographer when you can have dad take some nice photos with his digital camera and you can delete the ones that you dont like. Then you can save even more money by emailing them to friends and family.
7. Parties: Save on the big prom party. Gather a bunch of your friends together and have a fun post prom party. Some ideas might be a pool party or a bowling party.
8. The Jewelry: Girls, girls why pay the expensive cost of Jewelry when Mom and Grandma might have their own personal jewelry store right in their bedroom. The sentiments of borrowing something from Grandma will be more special than anything new that you purchase from the store for this special day.
9. The dinner: Save money by having a backyard barbeque or a romantic dinner at home with candles and the works and order take out.
10. Nails and Shoes: If your city has a beauty school, you can make a nail appointment and have a student put nails on you for a discounted price . You can exchange shoes with friends or purchase a nice pear of white pumps that you can wear again and again.

The most asked question by my visitors is whether or not they need a website to make money online. Well, the short answer is no; you can still take advantage of PPC services like Adwords, for example, and send traffic directly to your merchants sales page without a website. But what were going to do now is reevaluate needing a website.
Websites are very helpful and can make you tons of money if done properly. So if someone were to ask that question again I would most likely say yes, you do need a website at some point to maximize your profits.

If you gain your visitors trust, however, they will follow your recommendations because they trust you.
Please, no one page websites--those are usually short-lived. When building a website, remember to provide answers for your visitors problems.

Obviously if you are going to build a website yourself, you are going to need tons of quality content. A great way to start off is to go to some article submission sites. You will have access to thousands of quality articles you can use for your website instantly (just be sure to always include the authors resource box).
Content will be the most important aspect of your websites success; so you must make sure you get it right.
Rule #2: Use a reliable domain name and web host.
People obviously want to spend as little as possible; but if you get a website done using a free host, you can bet that people will know you are not that serious about your business. Not only will the quality be much lower than your competitors, free web hosts tend to be unreliable causing your website to suddenly crash; imagine losing all your work that took you a full year to buildit happens all the time and it has happened to me in the past; believe me, it is not a good feeling losing everything you worked so hard for.
Please do not make the fatal mistake of using a free hosts and free domains.

Perception really is everything when it comes to websites. When visitors arrive at your site they will recognize your sites design before anything else. You can have the greatest content in the world, but if your web layout and presentation are not easy on the eyes, all your visitors will press the back button immediately due to poor site design.
I will show you the keys to a fabulous presentation:
A) Consistent design from page to page. Customers like dealing with things that they are familiar with. So be very consistent with your page design, colors, style of writing, AdSense ad placement etc.
B) Please make sure your visitors can easily find what theyre looking for. Your navigation should be seamless and easy to use. Your Navigation Bar should be in the same place on all your pages. This may seem like a small point but its absolutely vital to your websites success the last thing you will want to do is frustrate your visitors because they cant find exactly what they are looking for.
I have seen my profits shoot through the roof simply by making everything super-easy to find.
Even though your content is what wins your visitors over in the end, do not neglect having a good presentation; it is the first thing your visitors will notice. What you want to do is make visitors want to stay once that is done, then they can be wowed by your great content.
Rule #4: Connect with your visitors.
Visitors want to know who is behind the website. So you must have a way that they can contact you through email. Have a contact link where people can easily see it. When visitors know that there is actually someone working behind the scenes willing to answer questions, they will feel more comfortable with what you have to offer.
The benefits of email marketing
Using your opt-in list is what we call email marketing. When people opt-in to your list they are actually giving you permission to send them emails. The great thing about this is that its very easy to set up and its highly effective. You should have a monthly newsletter that provides customers with free, yet valuable information. It is important you do not hard sell in your newsletter though; the main job of a newsletter is to get people to your site. A newsletter should address a problem by providing a solution.
A great way to get people to sign up/opt-in to your newsletter is to give something of value away for free. When visitors believe they are getting something of value, they will sign up to your newsletter to receive the free gift. Just make sure what ever you are giving away is of high quality.
Using autoresponders
Another great way for you to connect with your visitors is to use an autoresponder. When people fill out your autoresponder forms, they will automatically receive a series of emails containing your prewritten content (for example, you can have your autoresponder set up to automatically send out 1 email a day for 7 days to anyone who fills out the forms).
You should use autoresponders to send out a series of sequential emails that are packed with quality information. I found this to work very well with all of my websites (as long as you present high-value content to your visitors). Autoresponders are highly effective because the sequential emails constantly remind your visitors that your site exist.
You are not maximizing your profits until you have an autoresponder in full effect. Your opt-in list will have some of your most loyal customers. If making money online has been your goal, you should definitely give autoresponders a shot.
Rule #5: Traffic is your websites lifeblood
You will need tons of traffic in order to make money with your website. But how does one go about getting traffic? Well, there are really only two ways to get traffic: SEO and PPC advertising.
Search engine optimization involves link exchanging, article submission, one-way back links, keyword density, submitting your site to major directories, 2nd tier directories, and niche hubs directories and so much more. Doing all of the aforementioned does take a lot of work, but the pay off is huge. After a while you will begin to see your sites keywords in the top 10 for the major search engines. This free traffic will allow your site and business to flourish. The good news about free search engine traffic is that it can last for years and years.
The other way to get traffic to your site is by using pay-per-click advertising. Unlike SEO, this kind of traffic comes instantly. The moment you set up a campaign, traffic starts pouring in to your site, giving you scalable results right away. I recommend using Google Adwords to get started with PPC advertising. Adwords will quickly allows you to see what works and what doesnt.

You will need tons of traffic in order to make money with your website. But how does one go about getting traffic? Well, there are really only two ways to get traffic: SEO and PPC advertising.
Search engine optimization involves link exchanging, article submission, one-way back links, keyword density, submitting your site to major directories, 2nd tier directories, and niche hubs directories and so much more. Doing all of the aforementioned does take a lot of work, but the pay off is huge. After a while you will begin to see your sites keywords in the top 10 for the major search engines. This free traffic will allow your site and business to flourish. The good news about free search engine traffic is that it can last for years and years.
The other way to get traffic to your site is by using pay-per-click advertising. Unlike SEO, this kind of traffic comes instantly. The moment you set up a campaign, traffic starts pouring in to your site, giving you scalable results right away. I recommend using Google Adwords to get started with PPC advertising. Adwords will quickly allows you to see what works and what doesnt.
As effective as Adwords is, it still takes a little bit of figuring out. Many people lose money with PPC advertising because they simply dont know what they are doing. Whats worst is that they give up after a while. Adwords is too good to pass up; please learn as much as you can before startingit will make things much easier.

Then, in the dark of my office, I took a wild flight of fancy and looked up riches, wealth or some such idealistic term in a stab at somehow finding some kind of way to leverage my internet businesses to achieve success. I stumbled onto a website that was talking about a type of online business where you sold an online passive income system, An online business that:

>> Gives you a doorway on their server that gets prospects interested in the program, and offers them an opportunity to receive a live call.
>> LIVE PEOPLE who called you back in response to your call requestusually within minutes of your online inquiry. They apparently closed sales for you!
>> Well over 40 testimonialsserious testimonials that seemed to mirror my exact situation and talked about huge profits.
>> The possibility to promote up to 6 of your own products throughout your doorway. I was thinking this might perk sales of my online products.

Getting Your Online Money Making Business Started
For the absolute novice the foray into creating a money making online business can be quite daunting. Most don't know where to start let alone know what to do or how to do it. The one common theme, no matter what their circumstance, is "I want to make money!"
The key to having an online money making business is a change of mindset from employee to business owner or entrepreneur.
The employee clocks in every day, does the required tasks, clocks out again and spends their pay check; sometimes years in advance if they have accumulated credit debt.
The business owner however takes a wider view. He or she has a business plan, sets goals and initiates strategies to achieve them. The business owner forecasts their income in advance.
One of the first things to do, to avoid information overload, is to sit down with pencil and paper and plan your business.
Begin by defining what sort of business you want:
1. Physical products
This could be based on something as simple as your favourite craft or hobby. My teenage daughter, for example, loves making her own jewellery; so much so that our home is literally littered with her "creations". Therefore I built a website for her to sell it.
2. Electronic Products
If "making" a physical product to sell seems like too much work, how about creating a "How To" ebook about all you know on your favourite hobby, craft or area of expertise. Electronic products are very popular with those who want information but don't have the time to do all the research. Gather all your knowledge up in one package and sell your efforts again and again and again.
3. Affiliate Program Products
If you are really stuck for an idea of a product to sell, affiliate marketing is a good place to start. Affiliate marketing is selling someone else's product for a percentage of the sale. The secret to this kind of business is find products that you really love; it will be easier to succeed if your heart and soul is in your business.
There's no reason why you can't do all three - eventually - but for a start choose just one. Once you have decided, plan out ways to implement this new business. Break the plan into smaller, easy to achieve tasks. For each stage of implementing your money making business work on bite size pieces.
For example: "I need a website" can be refined into:
- Registering a Domain Name
- Find a web host
- Find an Auto-responder service
- Find a web designer or for the do-it-your-selfer, lessons on website building
- Find a payment processor
A certain amount of single-mindedness is required as it is easy to become distracted. You might find ideas popping into your head as you are working away. Great! Write them down in your ideas vault and get back to business. They can always be developed later when you have finished the task at hand
All good business owners work within time-frames. Use this to measure your effectiveness and productivity. Schedule time for your tasks, set a completion date, review your progress, and then adapt to make improvements.
While overseeing your business as a whole and focusing on the tasks required, your online money making business will take form and you'll find you will make money.

The beautiful thing about being a real estate investor is that there are unlimited ways to make BIG cash all the time in any type of economy. Real Estate is one of those things that everybody needs. It is not quite water, but it is something that everybody needs. Even the homeless guy has established his piece of real estate under the bridge or in the alley, etc. So you can see how you can take advantage of this wonderful resource and make lots of money.
Creativity is the key to making lots of money in real estate. After all, we want to be able to make money no matter what, so we need to come up with many options to make this happen in any economy and environment. This is where I like to look at one of the easier techniques known as wholesaling. Wholesaling is the art of finding a seller who is in a bit of a state of emergency. The state of emergency or distress can be many different things. It can be foreclosure, divorce, death, military move, and there are many others out there. The challenge here is to find them, or in fact make them find you.
The basics of wholesaling are fairly simple. You simply find a good deal from a distressed seller who needs to get out of the home as soon as possible. When you find this deal, you have many options to choose from. You can rent it out and make a couple extra bucks a month, rehab the property and resell it, lease options, etc. You can also do what I like to do and wholesale the property. You simply get the rights to the property and sell it to another investor for a more than you have rights to the property for. This does a couple of things. This insures that you will be paid on the front end of the deal at the closing table and you do not have to do any of the rehab work on the property. The investor that you sold it to will be the one that is taking on that responsibility. So, you do not have to deal with any of the contractors involved or any rehab period, all you have to do is get your check at closing and move on to the next one.
Wholesaling is great and fun and some even call it addictive, however I will add this word of caution. Make sure you protect yourself in your deal. The last thing you want is to find a good deal, and show other investors and they go behind your back and cut you out of the deal. So make sure you protect yourself. Get out there and get those deals and make lots of money. Anybody can do this. The only thing stopping you is YOU!

Hitman: Blood Money - Review
Hitman: Blood Money
Who hasnt heard of the Hitman series? The games with the legendary Hitman: Mr. 47, the assasin clone. I got introduced to them at a friends house. He was playing the first Hitman: Codename 47. At the time I wasnt really into this kind of game, it seemed to me like a lot of sneaking, exploring the neighbourhood. And waiting for a good time to make the kill. It just was to slow for someone that liked to play games that are fast, and contained a lot of mindless killing. Im sure a lot of you know what I mean. Then, a couple of years later (2), Hitman 2: Silent Assasin was released. This time I was ready for it. I got the game, started playing, and loved it. It was all good. The kills, the environments (sometimes the scenery was a bit too exotic) and the size of the levels (though at times a bit too large). But, at some point in the game I got stuck, and it was really irritating, because Id played the level at a friends house and finished it within no time (the level was chinatown, by the way, with the restaurant). Problem: He had the silencer, a bonus which one could receive at the end of certain missions. Because I did not want to do the level ,where he got the silencer, again. This was the end of my glorious career in Hitman 2. 2 more years later, Hitman: Contracts comes out. I was planning to get it, but somehow everything always got in the way, and I kept forgetting. Then suddenly, 2 more years later, I see an ad on Hitman: Blood Money, a woman lying on a bed, with a hole in her forehead. This was a great picture, and it made a lasting impression. I decided to get this Hitman, definitely. And so I did.
As the install commenced, I wondered how this Hitman would be, would it be more of the same (which wouldnt really bother me), or would it be even better. I guessed it would be the latter, because Id read a lot of positive reviews. 15 minutes later, I fire up the game. First up, the menu. I have to say, I love that music. Just stay in the menu for a couple of minutes, the music is worth it! Then I started my first mission, I get an introduction movie which introduced me to a guy in a wheelchair, and a journalist. Theyre talking about a failed assasination attempt on the president. Then the first mission started. Im in some kind of Banana Republic, and I need to kill a couple of guys, father and son. Easy as pie, you could say. But then it hit me again, my incredible laziness for tactics. I was waiting for the action, but when I still hadnt found a chance to kill the guys, so I killed the application, frustrated. A week or so later, I still hadnt touched the game again. But I wasnt about to give up to some game that just claims to be tough, I decided to have another go at it. This time in another state of mind.
This time, I started exploring the environment some more, looking at opportunities, memorizing the patrol-routes of the guards. I got to know the level pretty well, and started to get excited. I was really beginning to think I had a chance. Only thing I hadnt found out yet, was how to get to the father. But those were worries for later, or so I thought. I still didnt completely have the hang of it. And just strolled around the level for a bit, sometimes just going crazy and randomly killing people, then starting again, and have another go. I couldve killed the guards in front of the room where the father played cello, but I didnt do it, wanting to do it the Hitman way, stealthy, and as accident-like as possible. The fact that saves were deleted every time I exited the game, didnt help my mood either, but I would finish this level, so much was certain. So the next day, I had another go. This time with more succes, I found another way into the fathers room, and killed him as stealthy as possible, then I had a go at the son, took me about 3 tries. I ran to the airplane, and escaped the level, pleased with the kill. Then finally I got a hunch of how this game needs to be played: calm, very observant, and often.
After that, I couldnt stop with the killing. One level after another, the game was to die for (pun intended). And then my cousin arrived. I still hadnt finished the game, but had feeling, a sad one, that the end of the game was nearing. I played through the last couple of levels with my cousin, every night from 12 to 4 AM. It took us 2 nights, but we finished it, and I was, although sad, very pleased with the end. The story was even better than I had imagined. What a great game. The credits had a very nice and subtle bonus as well (and Im not going to give any spoilers). It truly was a great feeling.Although the gameplay and story are two very important (most important in my opinion) factors. The graphics are there too, and I must say the game was a feast. The graphics are very up to date, and almost foto-realistic. The movements are very smooth as well. And I dont really have anything bad to say about them. The game was also pretty bug-free. Every time I thought there was a bug, it turned out to be something I did wrong (but not always). The biggest bug I encountered was in one of the last levels when the walls got all colory and happy (which definitely didnt fit the scenery). But compared to what the game offers it was nothing.
Conclusion
There it is! My first conclusion, and its going to be a good one. This is definitely a game you have to play if your into tactics, if you want to kill stealthy, that is. Its still possible to burst in guns blazing, dont expect to live long though. Luckily there are upgrades, including armour, health boosts, and the likes. What I really liked was that this time, you could upgrade your items in the menu, this wasnt the case in Hitman 2. Another bonus were the accident-kills, in every level its possible to stage an accident for your targets. They are not that hard to find, and if it works, it gives a great feeling, so get going and stage those accidents! And last but definitely not least, Graphics and Story. Both great, and heartwarming, or as heartwarming as it gets, anyway. Difinitely the costumes, theyre really great and funny, and really slick. This is a must-play for every gamer. If youre not into tactics, or if you are, this games got both. Also nice is the Money earning system, the better and stealthier you hit, the more you get paid, and the cooler your guns become, this is where the staged accidents come in handy. Now get hired and kill those targets!

Prom: The Night You'll Never Forget And It Didn't Even Break Mom And Dad
My daughter's grade 8 grad is coming up in June and I was eagerly thinking of ways to keep the cost down. Even grade 8 grad is a big time in a girls life. This is a night for my daughter to remember but it shouldn't cost me and my husband a fortune.
For many parents prom is an expensive time of year and families are struggling financially to give their son or daughter the perfect night that they will remember a life time. Well there is no reason why you can't give them that night but on a budget you can afford. I have put together ten tips to help you save a few dollars. Attending a prom doesn't have to cost a fortune. Prom night doesn't have to break us. Girls the memories of prom will not be if you spent 20 dollars to get your nails done or arrived in a limo. The memories will be of who you were in school and the special times that you all shared.
1. The Tuxedo: Boys why bother renting that tuxedo when you can purchase a nice suit that you can wear again for under the cost of renting that tuxedo.
2. Hair and makeup: Girls the cost of hair and makeup is expensive. The boys are lucky they dont have to fork out this one. Hair, Makeup youre looking at an additional 80 dollars. For makeup call your local department store and see about getting your make up done on Prom day, also call around to your local salons and see if they have a package deal that includes both hair and makeup. You can also save money by having your mother put up your hair. Look at some of the styles for prom online and make a fun night with mom practicing the styles before the prom. You could also get in touch with Mary K and plan a makeup party early in the afternoon on prom day and the Mary K host will do your makeup free.
3. Limos: They are nice but they are so traditional and cost a lot. Why not gather a group of your friends together and do something off the wall. Arrive at your prom on the city bus or contact your school and rent a school bus for the evening and have all your friends pitch in.
4. The dress: Girls purchasing a new dress will cost you 200 dollars and for what something you wont wear again or will sit in your keep sake box. Why not shop on Ebay or your local used clothing store and get a dress for under the cost and then just pay the additional cost to have it dry cleaned. You may also want to check around with family and see if they have a bridesmaids dress or maybe your cousin still has her prom dress that you can borrow.
5. The flowers: Purchasing flowers from the flower store is going to cost you around 20 dollars. You can go to the craft store purchase the supplies to make your own corsages and boutonni for half the cost. They are so simple and fun to make. Make a fun day of it and invite your g/f over to make them with you.
6. The photos: Why hire a professional photographer when you can have dad take some nice photos with his digital camera and you can delete the ones that you dont like. Then you can save even more money by emailing them to friends and family.
7. Parties: Save on the big prom party. Gather a bunch of your friends together and have a fun post prom party. Some ideas might be a pool party or a bowling party.
8. The Jewelry: Girls, girls why pay the expensive cost of Jewelry when Mom and Grandma might have their own personal jewelry store right in their bedroom. The sentiments of borrowing something from Grandma will be more special than anything new that you purchase from the store for this special day.
9. The dinner: Save money by having a backyard barbeque or a romantic dinner at home with candles and the works and order take out.
10. Nails and Shoes: If your city has a beauty school, you can make a nail appointment and have a student put nails on you for a discounted price . You can exchange shoes with friends or purchase a nice pear of white pumps that you can wear again and again.
